Hunts Greenworks Ltd – Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

1. General Cancellations

To cancel or reschedule a booking, clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice before the scheduled appointment time.

  • More than 24 hours’ notice:  

  No charge.

  • Less than 24 hours’ notice:  

  A £20 late‑cancellation fee will apply to cover lost time and travel planning.

  • No‑shows (no contact before arrival time):  

  The full minimum call‑out charge of £30 will be invoiced.


2. Machinery Repairs & Workshop Bookings

When a machine is booked in for repair or service:

  • If cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice:  

  A £15 workshop slot fee applies.

  • If the machine is not available for collection/inspection at the agreed time:  

  A £15 wasted journey fee applies.


3. Grounds Maintenance & Larger Jobs

For full‑day or multi‑day work (e.g., fencing, clearance, hedge reductions):

  • 48 hours’ notice required for cancellation or rescheduling.
  • Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a fee of up to 50% of the quoted day rate, depending on materials ordered and time reserved.

4. Weather Conditions

Outdoor work is weather‑dependent. If conditions make the job unsafe or impractical:

  • Hunts Greenworks Ltd may reschedule at no cost to the client.
  • If the client insists on cancellation rather than rescheduling, the standard cancellation terms apply.

5. Repeat Cancellations

Clients who cancel or reschedule three times within a 6‑month period may be required to pay a non‑refundable deposit for future bookings.


6. How to Cancel

Cancellations must be made via:

  • Text or call  
  • Email  
  • Facebook/Whatsapp

A cancellation is only confirmed once acknowledged by Hunts Greenworks Ltd.


7. Fairness & Discretion

I understand that emergencies happen. Fees may be waived at my discretion in genuine circumstances”
